General Assembly identifies, develops, and showcases exceptional artists through exhibitions in our London gallery, and our residency in the Loire Valley, France. General Assembly encourages artists to present rigorous and ambitious exhibitions through historically informed and well considered artistic practices. The result is a display of clever, genuine shows which affirm dialogues about how artworks play a vital role in communicating value in today's visual culture. Focusing on emerging artists and international artists not represented in the UK, General Assembly is committed to supporting early careers and established practices which address this dialogue.
